Check out that little number.
These dancing horses were really cool I have to admit. And then this happened...
And we were all suddenly very confused.
A blue haired mermaid...
Waving a rainbow feather duster...
in the middle of the desert...Still not so sure but, moving on...
Then came the Fire Truck. And they gave the girls some cool hats! There were a few more things in the parade.
Not much though.
The whole thing lasted about 5 minutes.
Tops.
But it was still fun to see the town come together and pull it off.
I'm still kinda sad that Brian's flight didn't get in early enough for us to make the Beer drinking contest at the Park after the parade.
And that is not a joke. They had a beer drinking contest listed on the flyer for the "family fun day."
*insert eye roll here*
Later in the afternoon, Brian got to my Grandma's house and we were all very excited to see him. The kids were running around like crazy because they could not contain themselves. It was so cute.
After that we headed over to my parents house where my Dad made an awesome dinner, as usual. And we visited with family. It was nice to see Gayl and Margaret again. We had seen them at the wedding a week ago, and at the rehearsal. What a treat.
