Test Time

Actual Date: Tuesday, March 22, 2011

A week ago they tested Parker at Physical Therapy and he is doing everything the average 18 month old should be doing!  This is huge because at one point his Large Motor Skills were almost 6 months behind.

It's been a long hard road, 15 months to be exact, but he did the work and it's paid off.  Good job little Parker man.  Daddy and Mommy are very proud of you.

It was bitter sweet to leave, we are so happy to be done but we are going to miss the friends we've made there.  Everyone from the front office staff, to our fellow patience and of course Miss Nikki.  Miss Nikki has been our PT for about the last 9 months and Parker has come to love her.

We made her this book to thank her for all her hard work.

I gave it to him when we were in the waiting room.  When Miss Nikki came out to get us, Parker ran over and gave her the card.

She had such a huge smile.  She said "There's no way I can look at this now.  I will start crying!"

So we headed to the gym and got to work.

Showing off his step skills.

Workin' on that 6 pack.

Practicing balance and weight shifting.

Taking some time out for one of his favorite toys.  He loves to push the bottom and sing "E-I-E-I-O" along with it.

Back to work.  Mastering his stair skills.  Using the hand rail and doing it by himself.  Tell me that's not big boy stuff!

Brushing up his driving skills.  That'll come in handy when he starts his career in Nascar.

Then it was time to say goodbye.  But not before one last time with the bubble tumbler.

Thanks Miss Nikki!  We will miss you.
