I got my computer back! I had to take it in to get some work done so that's why I haven't been on in awhile. But I'm back and ready to get caught up! What a day to start back with. I have over 400 pictures of Garenn's party to sort through!
Here it goes nothing.

Remember all those cupcakes we baked yesterday?
Chelsea made Light sabers out of them.
Brandi's finished cookies.
Yoda is my favorite.
That is Yoda right? I've never been one for Star Wars.
If you've ever been at one of my families parties you know that no party would be complete without...
You guessed it! The White Trash Slip-n-Slide!
We love this thing.
It's just a simple little (ok huge) tarp, but it provides tons of fun.
Especially when you suds it up with dish soap to make it extra slippery.
There's the Birthday boy!
And the Parker boy.
Here's some other faces that I love:
After all the Slip-n-Slide fun, it was Pinata time!
Sounds like a job for a Jedi.
Or this guy.
I think Chris and Brian had more fun with that thing than the kids.
Next thing I know, I turned around and saw this. Yikes!
What the heck is going on around here?
Chelsea found these books at a Garage sale. They are masks of the characters from the movies.
Creepy huh?
And please someone do some research and see if these things are worth anything. They were old, really old and still in pretty good condition.
On second thought, don't. I don't wanna know if we just shredded a million dollar profit.
It might make me feel like this.
Remember those robes the girls were working on? They turned out good huh?
After that it was time present and cake time!
Speaking of cake. Guess who had an allergic reaction...
See how her lip is swollen and red there on the bottom?
It's all my fault and no I didn't punch her.
The frosting that was used to make the light saber cupcakes was processed in a plant with Peanuts. I knew this but we were so busy all day that I didn't even get around to warning Brooke. I knew Chels had made extra cupcakes and cookies that did not have any of the dye in them that were safe for Brooke so in my mind everything was taken care of.
Even so, I should have taken the extra step to warn her because she got a hold of one of the ones with dyed frosting. Brooke had asked me if she could have a cupcake with all the other kids and I told her yes but I would bring it to her in just a second. I went straight inside to get her one of her safe ones off the counter and by the time I got back outside she was sitting on the swing munching on a big old bite of the unsafe cupcake!
I tried not to freak but inside my heart sank. I took her inside and washed her face off. She had only taken one bite but the frosting was all over her face. When I washed it off I noticed her lip was starting to swell. I called Brian inside to see what he thought and he said we needed to get her dressed just in case we had to make a run to the hospital and I gave her a dose of Benadryl to try to stop her from reacting anymore.
Luckily it didn't get any worse. But it gave us quite the scare.
As the Sun started to go down we got the Yoda Soda's ready.
These aren't just any Yoda Sodas. They're glowing Yoda Sodas!
Chelsea had the idea for the Yoda Soda and I had seen this glow in the dark trick on Come Together Kids and couldn't wait to try it out. It was a hit! Everyone loved it.
The darker it got the more excited everyone got because we were in for a treat.
One of Garenn's friend's Parents are Fire Dancers and they had agreed to preform a show for everyone. Here's Garenn watching them get warmed up.
Soon it was time for the show to start.
And let me tell you it was Ah-Mazing!
Here's some video of the show. It was super cool to be right there and watch them. They are so talented.
You can hear us all laughing at one point in the video because one of the kids said "Disgusting!" when one of the girls was swallowing the fire.
Great job you guys!
Even after all of that the fun was still not over. We still had to try out the glow in the dark chalk that we made!
My camera was being sassy and not wanting to really focus in good because it was so dark but look, it works! Cool huh?
Happy Birthday Garenn!
Thanks for letting us be a part of your super cool party.
